December Happenings

Phew, December has just flown by! Rob, the boys and I flew to Seattle for the first two weeks in December and had a great time with family and friends. The boys got to spend time with a lot of their Coffey family and could not stop talking about swimming at Papa Ray's pool, sledding at Baby Gabe's cabin and the annual Coffey Christmas party, where, it seems they made out like bandits! They brought home loads of great stuff! We talk about all the family a lot, but I know it was great for all three of them to be able to actually visit with everyone! Rob, the boys, Robyn and I also spent a few days with Dad and Roberta, taking the boys to the Children's Museum, the Seattle Aquarium, and the local park. The boys got to open a few presents there too, so Rob was smart to bring an extra suitcase!

By the time we got back we had unfortunately missed a lot of the Christmas events at the squadron and in the community, which was kind of a bummer, but managed to get a Christmas tree (which is finally, as of today, decorated), some presents wrapped and have plans to start the baking/treat making tomorrow! Here are a few pictures from the trip to Seattle:

Andrew serving lunch at the Children's Museum. Both boys love to play with kitchen stuff.

They had an Arts-n-Crafts room, which was a huge hit. Andrew is on the other side of the glass with his paints.

Both boys making friends as they all wait for the trains to go by.

Just today the boys got a Christmas package from Ms. Carol with some GREAT gifts inside. The boys LOVED them!! These definitely kept them occupied for a good 1/2 hour. :)

James was at a slight disadvantaged being littler than Andrew, but he also had socks on. Very slippy.

Super Andrew with his side-kick Super James! Blake liked them too. :)

Andrew was really, really excited to pose for some pictures.
One of the Christmas gifts that Andrew got from the Coffey Christmas party was a Doctor's costume. He could barely wait to get home and try it all on. Here he his fixing Blake.

Apparently Blake needed some medicine that day, so Andrew gave him a Bandaid. Poor Blake.
