We have been growing a garden in pots this summer and one of the pots had one carrot left, so I pulled it and put a bunch of water in it. The boys proceded to make "soup" -- surprisingly it was black pepper soup. :)

First Day of School and making "soup"
Some of you probably saw this picture on Facebook, but I wanted to make sure the rest of you saw it. Andrew started Kindergarden and James started pre-school two weeks ago. This is as we were heading out the door. For some reason James really wanted to wear his pirate gear, so I let him until we got to school. The boys have done really well at school, meeting lots of new friends and coming home with all kinds of new project.
